The coordinators of CT-Luso met by videoconference on 4 September with the new board of the Clinical Research Ethics Commission (CEIC), one of the 24 partner organisations in this project to build ethical and regulatory capacity in the area of clinical trials.
The coordinators of CT-Luso, Helder Mota Filipe and Maria do Céu Patrão Neves, attended the meeting, as did Helena Canhão, the new president of CEIC, and vice-president Pedro Barata Coelho.
At the meeting, the project was contextualised and objectives and expectations were aligned. CEIC is leading Work Package (WP) 7 - Simulation of Clinical Trials and co-leading WP5 - Developing, implementing and evaluating the training programme, together with the National Bioethics Commission for Health in Mozambique.
