The CT Luso project's Training Program entitled "Ethical and legal requirements for the development of Scientific and Clinical Research" began on December 3, with 233 trainees attending the first session.
The module "Science and Ethics: their relationship" is being taught by Professor Maria do Céu Patrão Neves, who addressed the historical relationship between ethics, science and technology, the ways in which ethics intervenes in the field of science and technology and the emergence of ethics applied to biomedicine.
The training will take place between December 2024 and May 2025, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, totaling 111 hours of theoretical and practical classes. The objective is to equip trainees with specialized knowledge, providing solid training certified with 12 ECTS - European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System.
