Coordination of CT-Luso meets with Ambassador of São Tomé and Príncipe in Lisbon
On 6 February, the CT-Luso coordination received an audience with the Ambassador of São Tomé and Príncipe, Esterline Gonçalves Género. The meeting was attended on behalf of CT-Luso by the president of the Portuguese Pharmaceutical Association, Hélder Mota Filipe, the project coordinator, Maria do Céu Patrão Neves and the manager Catarina Sobrinho. The first secretary and head of the embassy's social section, N'dginga Costa, was also present.
The aim of the meeting was to present the CT-Luso project and assess the best means of co-operation in order to speed up São Tomé and Príncipe's ethical and regulatory capacity building at legislative, institutional and professional level, promoting the conduct of clinical trials in the country and for the country's benefit.
São Tomé and Príncipe's participation in the project's forthcoming public events was also discussed.
