Esperança Sevene

Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacology at Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM), where she teaches the curricular units of Pharmacology, Therapeutics and Bioethics in Research. Senior Researcher at Manhiça Health Research Center. She also had several assignments as a national and international pharmacovigilance expert, supporting the establishment of Pharmaceutical Systems in Mozambique and other African countries. She is currently the in-country Principal Investigator for the UEM Collaborative Research Ethics Education Program, funded by FIC-NIH, and Training Coordinator for the Implementation Science Research Partnership, also funded by FIC-NIH. She currently serves as Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Biosciences and Public Health at UEM and President of the National Committee for Bioethics in Health (CNBS).
