Maria Alexandra Ribeiro

Alexandra Ribeiro was President of the Ethics Committee for Clinical Research until July 2024. Degree in Biology and PhD in Biology: Physiology and Biochemistry from FCUL; postgraduate degree in Bioethics from IB-UCP. Visiting Professor at NOVA Medical School, UNL; Vice-President of the European Network of Ethics Committees (EUREC) and Portugal's representative for ethics in clinical trials at the European level. She collaborates on various projects in the areas of ethics, clinical research, and scientific integrity.
